Advantages: Cheap products, yet still very good quality. A good variety, too.

Disadvantages: The waiting around during busy times at the pick-up counters

Argos has got a lot of good points - there seems to be one in every shopping town (from what I've seen, at least - forgive me if I'm wrong!), so there's always one nearby... There are a LOT of products, and a wide variety within the product types. The prices vary, too. You can get something for cheap as dirt prices, or you can get something that's probably better quality for a more expensive, but still reasonable, price.

It sells jewellery, watches, kitchen appliances, haircare/beauty products, furniture, bedclothes... The list goes on. I can't even count how many times I've bought things from Argos now, and each item has been good quality AND cheap.

For instance, one of the things I've bought is a hand blender - to make soup and other meals. It cost me about £3, back in January/February time. I've used it a lot since then, and it still works perfectly - and is very easy to use, too. I definitely got my moneys worth, and more - and the same can be said for so many products Argos sell.

Summary: A great place to shop at for a bargain
