There must be an Argos in every town/city in the world. It doesn't matter where you turn there's always one round the corner, or across the street. This is a good thing, because they are a great chain of stores.

Argos sells everything from electrical equipment, garden equipment, beauty products, gifts and a huge selection at Christmas that suits all the members of the family.

There are 2 catalogues that are released each year, with the additions of sales brochures, special offers etc. The catalogues are jam packed with great deals and offers through out the year, and even though some of the stock is the same from the previous catalogues there can be some price differences in the new release if they have reduced the cost.

You can also visit Argos on the internet to buy or reserve the item that you are after for store pick up. Visit www.argos.co.uk to have a look at the items in the catalogue. If you see something that you are wanting but don't have to time to go to the shop to collect it, then you can have it delivered, this does cost however. Or if you want to check the availability of an item you can do this through the internet as well. If you find that there is only a few of the item that you are after then you can reserve the item and collect it from your nearest store. You don't have to pay for anything when you reserve and the items are only kept for about a week. If you don't collect them before then it will be added back into stock without any warning. If they are still in stock then you can reorder them again if needed.

Argos is also one of those companies that allow you to set up a wedding list, so that people don't buy you the same things. I might think of doing this later as I am getting married next year, it's great because it stops people having to struggle on what to buy you.

Argos is also doing an offer for Christmas that if you spend over £50 you will receive £5 off your next purchase or £10 off if you spend over £100. This does come in handy at this time of year, with all the presents that you have to buy. So go on get down to Argos today and grab a bargain.
