Argos is a fantastic way of shopping. You can pick up their current catalogue and sale flyers in store, each item has a catalogue number, have a look in the comfort of your own home and then either go online and reserve the item or ring and reserve. They have also recently added text and reserve to their system. I have used all of these services and they all work well for me, however given the choice I prefer to text or go online as their automated phoneline does have its flaws. When you go into store they have handy little screens around the catalogues, all you do is type in the catalgue number and it tells you if they have the item in stock, if the item is in stock write down the catalogue number and had to the till, when you get to the till they will read out the name and price to check you have the correct number, they may inform you of any misprints or additional extras at this point. They will give you an order number and collection point, when you hear you're number being called head for the collection point where they will stamp your reciept. They have a 30 day money back guarentee as long as the item is in its original and unused condition, if however you have a faulty item the packaging is not required. You have one year to return a faulty item and if you do so within the first 30 days you will be offered a full refund. After this time their procedure is repair, if it can't be repaired, replace and if it can't be replaced refunded. All this is dependant on you having proof of purchase. This can be your reciept, bank statement if you paid by card or an exact date within the last 3 months and they will trace the sale.

Summary: I love argos, i think its a great system that works very well.
