Advantages: great store and value for money

Disadvantages: high interest rates on cards

Argos is a great high street store! It stocks a wide range of products, from large electrical items such as TV's and computers to appliances such as washing machines and fridges, as well as smaller items such as household accessories and even batteries!

The argos catalogue is easy to use, and the glossary of items at the back of the book makes it easy to find what you are looking for straight away. Argos also has an online facility and a home delivery service for larger items such as Sofa's or Kitchen appliances, which is extremely convenient.

The Argos Card is a great way of purchasing products, as they have a payment plan. For example, on products over £100 you get the option to put it on your card and pay nothing for three months (this is longer depending on the price of the item). You do however, need to make sure you pay off the card at the end of the three month period, as the interest rates are quite high after this period.

Summary: great variety and convenient store
