Advantages: Good prices and huge variety of things sold

Disadvantages: Not supreme quality

Argos certainly performs given how well known it is. The idea behind Argos is a bit bizarre- rather than display their products, Argos just fill their shop space with catalogues containing all of their items, from which you can o to a till and buy one. It is amazing the percentage of items in the catalogue that they have in stock. Argos also have a website which you can buy from directly, or reserve something in your chosen store and then go and collect that item.

Argos cover a huge variety of things and generally if you are looking to buy something, it is always worth checking the Argos website to see if they do what you need since their prices tend to be good. Given the variety that they have, their prices are not always the best but by and large they don't tend to be higher than anywhere else.

They are particularly good when you want some unbranded equipment such as a basketball hoop, goalposts or a blow-up sofa for instance.

Always worth a check provided you don't want something top quality.

Summary: Always worth checking here
