Sorry if I have put this in the wrong place I cudnt find any for just argos delivery.
I was due to move into my new place september 2008 and needed a bed so I order a bed from argos online cost me about £300 I picked to pay extra for an actualy date and time for it to be deliverd.
I would have it in time for moving in everything went through and got my recpiet and had a delivery date of 2nd sept and the booked a day off work.
As we reached the 30 or august 3days before delivery I got a letter saying the bed was now out of stock and I got a new date of 29sept for my bed which was no far to late as I moved in on the 3rd and would have no bed. I however agreeded and borrowed a matress to sleep on and cancelled my day off work. It got to the 30 spet and no bed and a wasted unpaid day off work.so I run argos and asked what happened they said was still out of stock but they could delivery on the1 dec almost 3 month away ,they aplogised for not informing me.by this point I had enough and asked for a refund I was told id have to send a recpeit of the fpayment and a copy of the change of date letter ,and a refund could take upto 2weeks.how stupid. I finaly got a refund only by complaning to the manager and had to shop elsewhere for a bed.what a nightmare... I'm just hope they work a better system now I havnt orderd again to find out tho.
