Argos is a store where you can buy a whole host of items and there are stores throughout the country. The stores are rather large but the bit you are allowed in is only small. There are tables of the amazing 'eliminated books of dreams' as quoted from Bill Bailey in one of his stand up comedy shows. There are also pens and bits of paper to note down order numbers as well as machines to check if the product is in stock at that store and it will show you the quantity too.

The stores are usually brightly coloured, which is nice as it provides a cool atmosphere. The staffs are pretty helpful - the 'wardens', which go back and bring you your items. There is also a customer support desk and everything else you will need such as one for returns, but I've never dealt with this.

They sell everything that you can imagine really including large items too. They sell electronics, games, DVDs, CDs, Books, Outdoor Furniture, Outdoor Equipment, Sports Equipment, Toys, Lighting, Storage and much more! The items have a short description sometimes as well as a price and item number, which is keyed into the machine. The book in the store is the same as the one that you can take away for free. The catalogue is absolutely enormous and weighs a ton and a new one comes out every now and then. Overall, it's an excellent store and they sell loads of stuff and the prices aren't bad so I'd recommend shopping there! You can get many things in one place.
