Advantages: Cheap without being cheap

Disadvantages: none

Asda is a true family orientated superstore. It is very good value for money especially when compared with its competitors. Take Safeway for example, they have some great “Wow” offers like buy 24 Weetabix for £0.30 (and not to mention my favourite: Hagen Daas for £1.99) That’s a good deal – however when you look at the other prices they don’t even compare to Asda. Its not even as though you get less quality. You know some store you go to you pay for cheap product and therefore pay a cheap price – not so with Asda.

Also another thing that I like about Asda is that its now been bought by Wal-Mart, this means that the most successful store the USA is here – they have the power to but designer goods and sell them at low prices. Do you remember that Tesco tried to do this but were unable to? Well Wal-Mart is well known in the states for this kind of service – we’re going to see more products, cheaper prices, better services like child care and restaurants. What could be better?
