Advantages: Great facilities for families

Disadvantages: Car park can get busy

ASDA in my opinion is a SUPERmarket! They seem to stock pretty much anything and everything.

My local ASDA is quite a large store with a large carpark with parent and child parking alongside lots of disabled bays. They have two cash machines and even an anchor to tie your dogs lead to whilst your inside. They have every shopping trolley imaginable catering for single children, siblings & twins alongside a variety of trolleys for disabled users. The trolleys are always clean and well maintained and they even provide electric scooters with a large shopping basket on the front.

As for the store it self the toy section is well worth a look as they stock a fair amount for varying ages. Our ASDA has a George clothing department that caters for all ages. They even stock seasonal party wear for the children. You can buy a selection of footwear, winterwear, nightwear & underwear also. They have small changing rooms for you to try items on but they are also happy to take returns or exchanges.

The electrical section is quite outstanding as they even stock TVs! I have bought a variety of electrical goods from ASDA as generally the price can't be beaten and the aftercare is superb.

As for the food/drinks in ASDA, well it's pretty much as you would expect from a large supermarket. They stock a massive range of produce even some new european products to cater for the expanding population. There is always something to tempt me when I go shopping, they always seem to have good offers on the everyday essentials to the little indulgances.

Thanks to the recent price hykes ASDA have rolled back lots of there prices making the weekly grocery shop that little bit more bearable.

Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the excellent baby change facilities. I'm sure that the toilets are superb too but I always seem to end up the the baby change. It is always spotless and smells considerably fresher than you would expect it too. There is plenty of room for you to take a buggy in with you and still have ample room to move around.

The cafe restuarant within the store serves basic kinds of food but it is always tasy and very reasonably priced. Perfect if you just want a quick bite to eat. The tables are always cluttered but that's the customers fault as it is a self serve cafe and they customers should have the decency to leave the table how they found it.

Summary: The only place for a full weekly shop
