Advantages: So many extras

Disadvantages: Maybe a bit too large, and a confusing layout!

My local supermarket is an Asda, and I visit it most days to pick up essentials for the family, It is in my opinion the best and cheapest supermarket of all the chains. The George clothing range is brilliant and cannot be faulted for fashionable, quality clothing at a resonable price! The childrens and babies clothes are fantastic, and I have hundreds of baby George clothes at home!

Yesterday I visted the newish Walmart/Asda that has open up, and though impressed, by the end of the visit I had a serious headache. The store is absolutely huge and there is so much choice - in fact too much choice, it took us about an hour to go down 2 isles.

The store has all the things featured in an average Asda store, plus an extensive Hi-Fi, TV section and a very large homeware section, where you can pick up microwaves, vacuum cleaners, rugs and even wallpaper.

I bought a vacuum cleaner and was confident that I was getting one at a good price (Wal-mart are an american firm thatr specialise in cut-price prices), however I was dissapointed on getting it home to find that I could have got the same one cheaper at Argos!

However once you have the hang of the layout, this would be a brilliant store with lots of extras (did I mention the instore pharmacy and 1 hr photo lab).

I swear you could spend the day there!
