Advantages: Cheap, everything in one store
Disadvantages: Not all ASDAs sell everything
Asda is a chain of supermarkets located up and down the company which sell a huge range of products, depending on the store and size etc. It has to be one of the most well known shops in the country, selling food, electronics, clothing, drugs, cosmetics and more!
Asda contantly has offers on products, the usual "buy one get one free" reductions in prices they call "roll backs" and whose prices are generally very competitive. They have own brand products and then "smart price" products which are the cheapest of ASDAs own brand but can sometimes be a little tacky. However, asda do have their own clothes line "George" which have a great selection for all ages with a modern style which is improving year on year. They sell school uniform, shoes, tops, trousers etc and is a great place to look around to spot a bargain.
Asda have a Butchery, cheese counter, fish counter, so all the essentials can be bought in one place, they sell DIY gear, and many now have a pharmacy in store so any prescriptions can be quieried or obtained at the desk. Asda also sell jewellery and have helpful and friendly staff on most occasions.
Parking is normally easy, with trolley parks dotted around car parks and plentiful spaces. Stores are normally easy to locate, with huge signs in green letters reading ASDA etc. Items which are not wanted or do not fit etc can be refunded or exchanged at customer care desks and many Asdas now have self check outs. Overall a great shop and friendly, busy atmosphere.
Summary: A great place to shop
