Always helpful customer service (Asda)

We used to alternate between Asda and Tesco but now only used Asda for our main shop as their customer service is head and shoulders above Tesco's. In complete contrast to Tesco every time we have had cause to speak to the customer serivice desk they have been nothing but helpful. They always refund without question if we have been overcharged for anything (always check your receipts, especially for reduced items). This included recently when we bought a reduced bag of grapes but didn't notice until we got home that we were charged full price. I took the (now empty!) bag back with the receipt three weeks later and they gave me the full cost back without question! They also refunded us for a pizza when we questioned the price. It turned out to have been our mistake as the offer was on a different product but they agreed it was, 'a bit confusing' and gave us the money back anyway.

Checkout staff are usually polite and friendly and if you ask anyone on the shop floor for help they do their best to help you, not always successfully though!

Their prices are always excellent and if you go at the right time you can get excellent bargins with many items reduced to 10p.

Summary: The customer is always right!
