Good choice and low prices (Asda)

Advantages: Childrens clothes are good

Of the big four supermarkets Asda is the one I probably visit the elast, the main reason is that where I live they do not have a very big store, in fact they took it over from when Safeway were taken over by Morrisons as it was the samll Safeway that Morrisons did not want, also where they are located they are right next door to a bigger Waitrose which I would tend to use however the other day I was in Milton Keynes and needed to do a big shop so I visited the huge one they have in the centre.

I was really impressed with the selection and the fact that the prices seemed to be lower than my usual shop in Sainsbury. I was especially impressed with the George range of clothes that they have and picked up a couple of things for my little niece, a really nice floral patterned skirt for under a tenner and a couple of stylish tops as well, the quality looks good and the price is excellent.

The shelves were well stocked and the fresh fruit and veg seemed pretty reasonable with regards to quality, I tend to buy whenever I can from farmers markets but sometimes find it hard to go when they are open so occasionally have to rely on supermarkets for such things.

Asda carry their own range of labelled products and certainly they seemed very cheap and on a similar level to the basics range in Sainsbury and value range in Tesco.

The tills were quite busy but they did put out an annoncementto get more people serving while waited and three new tills opened straight away so they do monitor customer service, overall I would use hem again as there is plenty of choice and the prices are good.
