Advantages: Good range and Value

Disadvantages: can get a little bit busy

I do all my food shopping in my local Asda. I find that Asda have a great range at great prices.

No I do not work for them. Find that their Farm store Budget range is well worth money. I once heard someone that I work with saying I am going to be glad when we have enough money. So that we can stop eating farm store brand. The value and range is very good. I love their pasta sauce. That is another matter. I can feed my husband and me (and we both love our food) including soft drinks and packed lunches for about £80 a month. That is not the best bit. I can use coupons even if I don't buy the product. Asda allows up to 10% of the value of the shopping in coupons if you do not buy the items. One tip if the coupon does not have amount on e.g. 20p then you must buy the product. We found out the hard way. The checkout assistants never complain when we give then £2 or £3 worth of all the same coupons. And it may not be much but it does mount up over the year.

Even there own (not farm store brand) is good value for money. If you don't like it then you can return the item for a refund. In addition, you can take anything back as long as you have receipt. We bought a cutlery set. And I was going to keep it for when the other cheap cutlery had broken. Two weeks later I was tidying up and was going to put the box of cutlery away, I thought that I would check that it was ok. I found some rust on it had the receipt and they gave us the money back. The same with a body spray that my husband bought. Own brand it stopped working. Did all the usual things. Still did not work and it was half full. They gave him a choice a new can or his money back. Took the money.

Therefore, I have nothing but praise for my local Asda.

Have been to the new asda-walmart at cribbs causeway Bristol. The range of goods is impressive. But that was where it ends. Half the shop is given over to sund
ry items e.g Videos,toys etc.

I found it harder to shop as the order of goods are totally different from my own local. And I think that my local was big. Also found that they where out of stock on lots of things that I wanted. Which I found unusual. As I know from someone who use to work at the local one. that they have 4/5 artic lorries every night in with goods.
