Asda is usually our Supermarket of choice. It isn't the closest Supermarket, but it works out a bit cheaper than Sainsburys.

The layout of Asda always seems good enough. Things seem to be in a logical enough order, and often the Trolly and Basket stack are good enough that you don't have to go hunting for them. I think that the first bit you see when you go into Asda could perhaps be utilised a bit more, but that could just be my branch. There seems to be this bit open space with nothing much in it.

This is a 1 stop shop. The clothing range George is large enough and covers casual, work and dress wear. The prices are good as well, and the clothes seem to wash up well enough and last good too. I had to buy a shirt, tie trousers and shoes for a funeral unexpectedly last year and got the whole lot for under £30.

The shelves are usually well stocked, but certain special offers seem to run out pretty quick unfortunately.

There us a good amount of staff in our local one and they work well to stock the shelves, work the tills and generally mill around so if you need help with anything then they can advise or go and find out.

The prices are cheap enough as well, and they cover the budget brand pretty well, and there is more expensive things as well if you want to splash out.

The music and dvd bit is ok, but it is more for the new releases rather than anything else. They have a small amount of electrical goods so if you want to pick up an i-pod, new mobile etc.

Also in my local branch there is an opticians which is reasonably priced and a Dry Cleaners too. There used to be a Asda Café in here but that got replaced by a McDonalds, which is good, but I think they should have left the food to be more traditional such as sandwiches, hot meals, soup etc.

Asda would cover all my needs for shopping in would say, and you can even order online and it gets delivered to your house, so you can get all the goodies and not even go out for them.
