Advantages: Good prices

Disadvantages: Too far from home

I just wish the store was closer to home, but we always make a monthly visit - by public transport - and get our favourite items in bulk.

Food is not the only thing that you get at Asda's. Although I feel that following the Wal-Mart Saga I had hoped that there would have been more by now.

By George do they have good clothes at great prices (should I say Bye George as he has now settled in at M&S with the rest of his team).

The electrical section has also produced a couple of gems. The prices are similar to other High street stores, but the after service is where they win - at least on cost. We bought a Video player with a free three years guarantee - parts and labour. At other stores this would ahve cost the same as the bought item.

The quality of the service is high and the premises are well laid out. Car parking and cafeteria also add to the total experience. As I live in a rural area, having to visit the next town to use them is a hassle, but hey, with the savings it is worth the monthly hassle.
