Great prices, lacks variety (Asda)

Advantages: Excellent customer service, Low prices, Very Amercian!

Disadvantages: Not enough variety

I love shopping at ASDA. The friendly "greeter" with her "Happy to Help" badge, the "You'll get a smile at this wide isle" signs, it's all so American!

Customer service is very important at ASDA. If you need help finding an item they will happily take you there - not just point!

The prices are great too. They have loads of "Whoops!" products, which are reduced items for quick sale. I often pick up ten donuts for 5p, or a cooked chicken for 50p. Bargain!

The staff on the tills are extra friendly and helpful, always happy, and they are quite well paid compared to other stores. They take interest in their jobs and get to know regular customers very quickly.

On the downside, I think the staff are a bit scared of the management. They have hidden microphones and cameras around the store which they use to monitor staff, and even have hidden microphones at the tills so they can hear what staff are saying to customers. Its all to improve customer service though which is a good thing for the consumer.

The only thing I would say is that the variety is a bit limited. I tend to get bored of the same things being offered all the time, it would be nice if they would change more items seasonally.
