I often shop at Asda on Monks Cross near York and I think it is one of the best supermarkets around. It has everything you need under one roof.

What's in store.

Asda Clothes

As well as selling food products, Asda also sells clothes at reasonable prices that won't cause a hole in your pocket. Asda sells women's clothes, men's clothes, children's clothes and shoes etc.

Women's

Asda offers a large selection of clothes from casual beach wear, casual day wear to smart work wear.

Men's

Asda offers a reasonable selection of clothes for men and sells items such as casual jumpers, Smart trousers, Shirts and ties, Shoes, socks and t.shirts.

Asda Cosmetics

I recently bought a new Rimmel mascara from Boots and when I went to Asda I noticed that they sold Rimmel cosmetics and i'm sure they would cost less than those at Boots

Asda also has a selection of staitionary such as,
pens (£1.99 for a large tub),
plastic wallets,
course document folders (99p for 5)

Asda special offers

Occasionally Asda has special offers on a range of products. A few weeks ago there was a range of products in the trolley area so I thought it worth a look and it certainly was. There were star wars books and models that looked collectable, cushion covers in green check or blue, snakeskin boots, children's clothes, bathroom accessories and a box full of assorted items.

I had been looking for some bath room accessories and decided to ask how much they were.

The sales assistant told me that everything was 25p each, I thought I had mis-heard her, but I hadn't.

I bought two cushion covers, a toothbrush holder and a soap dish for £1 (what a bargain.)

I just wish I had been blessed with smaller feet then I would have bo
ught the boots aswell and if they turned out to be a fashion disaster then for 25p who can complain!


Cafe

When shopping at Asda I regularly eat at their cafe as I think the food is good and the prices are reasonable. Asda cafe sells:

Sandwiches (Various types from 99p to £1.99

Chocolate cake
Carrot cake
Trifle
Muffins
Fresh orange carton (39p)
Coffee
Hot chocolate
Tea

A range of hot food is also available

You can buy a meal for 2 for under £10

Customer Service

I have always found the customer service offered by Asda to have been of a high standard. The check out operators are always polite and friendly and this makes shopping more plesant.

On one shopping trip to Asda my boyfriend ordered a lasanya and found a label in it. He told Asda about it and received a £5 voucher, unlike some supermarkets Asda values your custom and wants to keep their customers happy.

I wouldn't shop anywhere else.
