In my opinion Asda provides the most enjoyable shopping experience out of the major supermarkets. The in store bakery is very good, and I think Asda's bread is better than most supermarkets. They also have a very good large selection of food, including fresh fruit and vegetables, and have departments, such as clothing, music and videos.

Asda's prices are very good, and usually less than the other major supermarkets. One thing I like about Asda is that on the price tickets, it tells you how much the item is, for example, per grams. This is very useful, and lets you easily compare different products, and find out which is the better value, even if the quantity differs.

One good thing about Asda is that they have a Farm stores brand, which is very cheap, but they also have the Asda brand, which provides better quality. So if you are looking for very cheap food, and don't worry too much about the quality, you have the Farm Stores food, which really is very cheap. Or, if you like to have better quality food, but still cheaper than the well known branded goods, then you can safely choose the Asda brand. The Asda brands are usually very good quality, and some items are better than their branded counterparts. Asda's own brand Cornets are very good, better than Walls, and their teabags are also very good.

The tills are usually not too busy, and the customer service is good. My closest Asda is open 24 hours, so it's conveniently open whenever I want to shop, (except for Sunday afternoons when it closes as around 4.00). However, I have found that I don't take much advantage of this, and have only shopped there a few times, out of usual shopping hours, around Christmas to avoid the crowds.

One of the things that I don't like about Asda is also don't have as many special offers as they used to, which is a shame, as I love a good bargain. Other than that, I would definitely recommend Asda for y
our weekly shop.
