Big shops, small prices (Asda)

Advantages: Regular low prices, more tills and ways to pay

Disadvantages: Huge stores - my feet are killing me !

The ASDA store in my town is part of a new conurbation outside the main town. This makes it a pain to get to but there are a numbers of busses and a huge car park to cater for it's non-local customers.



This seems to be caught between the 'full-price large supermarkets' like Tesco and Sainsbury and the smaller low price stores like Lidl and Farmfoods. Now I think that is not too much of a problem depending upon what you want from you shopiing exeprience.



Adsa offers a more extensive range of products than the smaller stores but doesn't charge you the high prices of the other large chains.



So if you do like the branded goods rather than taking a chance on store brand goods and tactical pricing and don't like high prices of other the large stores but like the facilites large number of tills and various payment options then Asda is the store for the bulk of you shopping.
