Advantages: cheap and cheerful, more than a supermarket
Disadvantages: my store is too far
Asda is quite a good place to shop for offers, the sales are good and the prices are reasonable.
Personally I don't shop at asda very much at all, this is because it is at least 5 miles from where I live.
From time to time I take a look in, particularly the clothes, they have sales quite often and the George selection of clothes are cheap and good quality. The children's clothes and school wear is also cheap and I think that asda can have something for everyone.
Asda has been around for as long as I can remember and it has always stuck to the same quote "Asda Price".
Supermarkets these days are growing to become more like shopping centres, well in Preston they are. At asda they have- hairdressers, chemists, travel agents, estate agents, café, thorntons, chemist, key cut, and a jewellers, these are all before you start your shopping, so asda is a world of its own and no doubt it will continue to grow. I would probably shop here more if I lived nearer.
