Advantages: cheap meal breaks

Disadvantages: not 24hr

I regularly use the ASDA at J17 - M5 as a service area during travel from N.Wales to the west country..

Follow the signs for the retail park....

travelling south its "left at the lights off the slip road"

travelling north its " right at the roundabout and immediate left at the lights...



Apart from being able to shop you can get a good meal for a ridiculously low price...

How about £2.99 for half a roast chicken, chips and peas !!

I can usually get two cooked meals, snacks for 2 children and drinls for all and have change from £15....

If traveling late remember that the canteen starts to close at about 7:30... or at least run out of some foods....


Very useful stop....breaks the journey and compare the price to a motorway service station !!!
