I do not think there's a introduction needed for Asda as most of you on here would know what it is about. Asda has been a top supermarket for years and provides some stiff competition to Tesco. For us customers its good to see that happen as prices always go lower and we save money this way as the two battle. Coming to Asda the best ... Read the complete review

I've been shopping in Asda for as long as I can remember. Although there is a number of shops near me, such as Tescos, a local Co-op and a Somerfield, I always seem to find myself drawn back to the big green giant. When I was younger, Asda seemed to have the brand of cheap and cheerful. It was were you went when you were running low on ... Read the complete review

Of the big four supermarkets Asda is the one I probably visit the elast, the main reason is that where I live they do not have a very big store, in fact they took it over from when Safeway were taken over by Morrisons as it was the samll Safeway that Morrisons did not want, also where they are located they are right next door to a bigger Waitrose ... I have been to may different stores to buy my food, but without fail I always return to Asda. I have found that my local asda in Great Bridge does everything. Upstairs you have the George deparment. This has a range of things from clothes and shoes to cds and electrical equipment. I love this part of the store and can always find a ... Read the complete review

Asda - specifically Asda's freshly made pizza in steak and cheese flavour! We used to order takeaway pizza from Domino's until we discovered this gem. Since then, we haven't had a single one as the Asda one is so good, others just don't compare to it. Most large Asda stores now have the facility to create freshly made pizza ... General Info --------------- ASDA is a massive supermarket chain which covers a variety of different products and sells virtually everything under the sun. The prices are usually reasonable and compare the market suggests that it is the cheapest one of the lot. However, i suspect this depends on what you are actually ... Read the complete review

No doubt you'll know where your nearest Asda is and would have shopped there at least once. Asda is a popular supermarket, which offers probably the best value, in my opinion, of any of the main supermarket chains. At the moment, Lidl has some great offers on, but Asda food I think is a bit better. For me, Asda's own brand is ... Read the complete review

My local store is in blackpool lancashire, and ive got to say their customer service is appaling. Was really put off asda last year when a member of staff treated me appallingly, thus putting me off using asda again. Even the head office couldnt find the time to write a simple letter of apology even when other people heard the commotion and ... Read the complete review

I have on two occasions been into Asda in Milton Keynes (simply because i was passing) - its huge (and very American) - on both occasions i have ended up putting my basket down and walking out - so at least i have not actually given them any money!! I first started shopping at Asda in my first year of university, as it was the closest supermarket to where I lived. However, these days I will actively drive past Tescos to do my weekly shop at Asda. I find that the prices and food at Asda are much better than at most other supermarket. You can find branches of Asda in most major ... Read the complete review

Asda is my main supermarket, being only a 15 minute walk away from my home . There is a Sainsburys nearer, but I don't find them as competitive for price, so Asda it is . The Asda store chain is the second largest supermarket retail network in the UK, only smaller than Tesco, its main largest rival, but also competes for the market share against the other large retailers Morrisons and Sainsbury's. Since 1999 it has been part of the Walmart brand after its take-over and has since been involved in a competative ... Read the complete review

I have absolutely no loyalty when it comes to supermarkets, whichever has the best offers, the cheapest items and the biggest variety is the one I will shop in. I've found that for me, Asda pretty much always ticks all of these boxes. It may not offer a points reward scheme, but thats because it doesn't need to, I've shopped around and always come ... We do our regular monthly shop in Asda. We have been doing this for about five years. This doesn't mean that we don't shop anywhere else, we do a lot, but Asda is our most frequented shop because it is close to where we live and although Asda is not the absolute cheapest supermarket, the prices are quite good for the quality. Asda was my local supermarket until recently, therefore I have shopped in Asda once or twice a week for the past 5 years. Aldi is a chain of supermarkets selling discounted food stuff and other items. Stores tend to be small in terms of Supermarkets and you don't get the product range that you would get in Tescos or Sainsburys. Stores are usually open til 8pm on a weeknight and usual opening times on a Sat and Sun. In this respect Aldi can't compete with ... Read the complete review

If you want food, dvds, cds, games, clothing, gifts, make up, cards, newspapers etc then it has to be Asda.
