I've been shopping at Asdas for several months now and have found it to be the best supermarket around. When I used to live with my parents, I'd pop into my local Asdas every now and then, in particular, to look at the clothes. 'George' is the range of clothes available at Asda and I've had some fantastic items both ... Read the complete review

The Asda, has always been my favourite supermarket, by a mile, from the overall prices to the quality of their own brands, I think the Asda is tops everytime. I have shopped at my local Asda store for years as I always found it cheaper the Safeways and Tesco. This could not be more true after the recent takeover of Asda by Walmart. Already prices are being cut on house hold names and their importing products from America which are of equal or better quality to their UK counterparts, and best of all ... Read the complete review

Before I moved to my new flat about a year and half ago I had become I bit of a supermarket snob and shopped at Sainsburys. Don’t know why it just meant same food for more money! Since moving I don’t live near Sainsbury my local Supermarket is now Asda. I do 95% of my shopping at Asda and there have been a couple of ... Read the complete review

Even though I live nowhere near an Asda I still drive over there every month for food shopping because it’s so cheap. You will get twice as much for your money here! The nearest Asda to me is huge, massive. Apart from food they also sell clothes, magazines, music and videos. They also have offers each month on large electrical ... Read the complete review

I receintly revisted my local asda to find that it had changed alot but for the worse. There were less staff and the place was a mess it was a disgrace. The newspaper aisle was a real danger to the public with leaflets all over the floor. the rest of the shop was just as bad with food and tins on the floor it did not look clean and I personaly ... We all know the ad on the telly where people stand around in Asda patting thier backsides dont we? Well its not really like that. Our local Asda isnt anyway! As a poor student(!) I am always looking for a bargain (or two). Our local supermarket at universityn is Sainsburies, and for two years I have been willingly falling into their free return bus trap! Though the food is good and the price OK, its not great value. I recently started going to ASDA, by accident really and it is so much better. ... Read the complete review

I would just like to let you know that ASDA Chadderton is the worst ASDA store in the country. Never have I seen such a dirty and disorganised supermarket. Staff are poorly dressed and many of them could use a lesson in personal hygiene. The car park is not big enough to hold the volume of traffic using the store, and ... Read the complete review

is it me or has Asda started to go downhill with it's products? i used to go there every week without fail, but now find myself going further afield just to get quality items. the 'fresh' cooked meat looks processed, there is no texture to it, and it doesn't last more than a day. the 'fresh' fruit ... I love shopping at ASDA. The friendly "greeter" with her "Happy to Help" badge, the "You'll get a smile at this wide isle" signs, it's all so American! Customer service is very important at ASDA. Despite the absolutely DREADFUL advertising campaign, ASDA are one of the better supermarket chains. I'm sure the fact that their advertising revolves around people slapping their buttocks and skipping slightly to the right may put people off, but give them a try... anyway, I digress, this op is about the store and not the advertising. :) ...
