I just must tell you about Asda's Ocean Wave moisturising cream bath. At 89p for a litre it is just the best...and believe me, I am a connoiseur of bubble baths...that I have ever come across. I have tried all the dearest and all the cheapest brands of bubble baths. I do not get on with anything that is clear, it tends to ... Read the complete review

I shop at most supermarkets all the time, but the one I like least of all is asda. At my local store you have to pay for parking unless you spend a set amount on food. I think this is wrong as it is us the shopper who are putting money in their pockets, and we shouldn't have to pay for the privilege of using there stores. The ... Read the complete review

Asda and Safeway are the closest supermarkets to where I live. They basically stock the same things, with Asda being quite a bit larger and having the addition of the George clothing range. Having done my weekly shopping in both places, I have to say that Asda is undoubtedly cheaper than Safeway. This comparison is based on branded products, ... Read the complete review

Asda is a quite a good supermarket, it has it’s own label of clothes George, which sells not to bad, men woman and children’s clothes, but in my opinion they are not great, they sell the usual CD’s and books that most supermarkets sell. BUT. I did my weekly shop there, on the adverts it says low prices through out the ... Read the complete review

I have been shopping at ASDA for a good ten years now around the country. I have always wondered why you could go into a Sainsbury's in Cleethorpes and buy a bag of peas, go into Sainsbury's in Aberdeen and buy exactly the same bag of peas but in ASDA, where are the damned peas and who ever heard of that brand? I always thought ... Read the complete review

Asda has to be one of the most under-rated stores I've ever been able to shop in. It's absoulte yusperb. I know that Safeway and tesco are nicer stores to shop in but Asda simply cannot be beaten on price. The addition of George and the hardware stuff has made it even better. I hoping that when Walmart gets it's claws into it properly ... Read the complete review

I love conditioner on my hair and so i went to Asda and found the coconut conditioner for permed, coloured hair. As my hair has just been coloured. Alot of conditioners irritate my skin when you rinse them off and it can also irritate my hair also. But this one didn't irritate my skin or hair which i was glad about. It is a very good ... I have shopped at ASDA for about 13 years now and I can only say despite the companies on going add campaign about rolling back the prices, the value is worse than ever. If ASDA is rolling prices back, how come toilet rolls (pack of 9 Andrex) has gone up in price by 50 pence in 2 weeks! Every fortnight we go shopping and every fortnight the ... I used to shop at ASDA when I first got married, but was quickly dissolusioned by the quality of their produce. Now a few years later I have begun to shop there again as I have found that the quality of the products they sell has greatly improved. the value range especially is value for money, although I do wish they could have ... Having heard much about the new sooperdooper American style Asda in Bristol my husband & I took ourselves off up there too see how it had changed. It takes about 3/4 of an hour from where we live and having arrived we had to queue to park. We duly wandered round the store and found everything you would expect from Asda allbeit in larger ... This is the time of year when parents will be looking to kit out their little darlings for another school year. I have 3 school age children and all attend schools with strict full uniform policy. I must admit at this time my heart sinks..a second mortgage is needed to supply Blazers, skirts, trousers and everything else that goes with ... Read the complete review

Xmillion feels well qualified to voice an opinion on the new rebadged Asda Walmart supercentre at Cribbs Causeway, Brisol as he has shopped there for, well, ages. (He can in fact remember the time when it was Carrefour, when it was supposed to be a herald of the French invasion.) Over the past months there has been a certain amount of ... I've only used our local ASDA a couple of times, but I have to say that I'm impressed so far, for a number of reasons. Even though our store is going through 'improvements' (ie - virtually rebuilding it!) it's still quite easy to find what you;re looking for. It does seem to be cheaper than other places ... I visited the new Walmart in Bristol on 26 July expecting, as said on the television news, 60% savings. Well, how disappointed was I to see that there was hardly any difference in prices, if any! Televisions, video recorders and dvd's were all very expensive and no other goods were any cheaper than my local Asda. The ... Read the complete review

Shopping at ASDA is getting to be a real pain!! It's looking really scruffy, with empty shelves never restocked and boxes and boxes of crap special offers all over the place! I know this may sound petty but I have been going for 4 weeks now and every time I go they NEVER NEVER NEVER have frying chips!!!The freezer is always full of oven ... Read the complete review

My local Asda, which is not actually very local but about three miles away, is absolutely huge. I would call it a hypermarket rather than a supermarket. It sells all the stuff you find in any supermarket and, price wise, it is very competitive. The real difference at Asda is the choice and range of products that they offer. You can buy ... I only visit the local Asda occasionally, firstly because I have a supermarket slightly closer to me, secondly because Asda is in the opposite direction, therefore I drop in only if I'm passing. As a store which is billed, and advertises itself as being cheaper than the others, I don't actually find it so. Whenever I go in it ... Read the complete review

Asda, a good reliable store been around for years and thanks to its advertising strategy probably will remain so. The transformation that ASDA carried out on the old Benton Hypermarket site is brilliant, the whole store appears to be brighter and has more space. There's still acres of free parking outside and a decent little petrol station on the site as well. The shop is cleaner and the produce better. The staff are friendlier and always ...
