Asda is my favourite supermarket especially compared to where I use to shop at Tesco. I really hate supermarket shopping, the ignorant people hogging the aisles not moving, kids screaming, and of course trollies are so hard to steer!! Well they are for me but somehow i feel a little bit better because Asda does not sell just food it ... Read the complete review

for as long as i can remember my parents have ALWAYS done their weekly food shopping at asda. more often than not its the cheapest place to get food, drink or clothes etc from. in my opinion (as that what these reviews are, PERSONAL OPINIONS) the clothes are of a good quality, im not a huge fan of the adults clothing section but always ... I was disgusted when I visited Asda Chadderton the other day. I had bought clothes and shopping including frozen goods. I was asked at the check out if I had brought any bags with me, I said no. She then said I could buy bags, but as I have four or five bags at home I refused. She said she could not supply any bags, not even for the cardigan I had bought. My sister had one plastic bag in her bag so we had to share this having to put a new cardigan in with beefburges and other frozen goods. What a service. I wont wont be shopping there again.

Asda isn't my local supermarket so it isn't the one I usually shop in but I do like it. When I am travelling past one while in work I usually find myself popping in under the pretense to myself that I need some milk or something but in fact I am going in to look at the clothes. I really like the clothes at Asda and like to have a good ... Read the complete review

I don't use ASDA as my main supermarket shop as it's just not convenient - but I do make a special trip every couple of months to stock up on few items that they seem to do very well. The primary reason I go is for their wine selection. Generally they have lots of really good wines in their "3 for £10" range. There is usually ... Read the complete review

Asda is one of those supermarkets which has a really bad reputation, in the past this has been justified, but asda is currently going through something of a re-invention of late. In 1999, Asda was bought by the american chain store giant Wal-Mart. For me, this is when things started to go downhill. The quality of the goods and even the ... Read the complete review

Asda - Colchester Firstly let me make you aware this is a huge store. It covers a large area and has two levels, you can find pretty much anything in here food and electrical at good prices. The layout of the store is not too bad but because its soo big it doesn't make for the easiest shop, but thats a small sacrifice. Couldn't find a ... Read the complete review

I usually stick to Tesco's to to my main shop but recently becoming a seasonal worker at Asda I decided to convert to asda to please my bosses!! Especially as Asda and Tescos are competing against each other. :) I must say that I generally prefer the lay out of Tesco's stores, i seem to be able to find everything so much easier ... I tend to do most of my shopping in tesco but have occaisionally brought a bit from asda I tend to go ... Read the complete review

Well I have just been on a shopping trip to Asda so thought I would do a review on it. I have been shopping at Asda a few years now since I was at Uni. It doesn't have the most amazing quality of food but it does have some very cheap items and special offers. The Asdas I have been to have all had good-sized car parks so it is usually ... Asda is my local supemarket however I have shopped in other supermarkets in the past and none of them in my opinion can beat Asda. Its excellant value for money for food, drink, books, cds, dvd's, alcohol and beauty essentials. Asda's own clothing range, George is great too and top quality. I am also a great fan of Asda's smart price range. The ... Read the complete review

I love Asda, not only does it stock low cost items it has extra special ranges as well, it not only keeps its budget lines at low cost it has many offers on the extra special, the music and video department is great and much lower prices than the large music retailer. the book chart is a bit slow only changing fortnightly, but the books are ... Asda is one of the cheapest supermarkets around, but its still managed to maintain its posture. Without falling into the pit of embarassment where the likes of Netto and Lidl are...you don't feel embarrased to tell your friends you shop at Asda even though it can be dirt cheap! Smart Price products are great! We shop there alot and as we're ... Read the complete review

Asda used to be considered cheap and tacky but it has managed to change it's appearance around greatly. Still on the cheap side of things, it manages to challange the other main supermarkets such as Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Mark & Sparks and even comes close to Tesco. There seems to be alot of adverts on TV from both Tesco and Asda showing ... Read the complete review

I used to shop at Asda quite regularly when I was a student as they have good prices and have pretty much everything you could want under one roof. My friends and I could often spend hours just wandering around looking at clothes, homeware, DVDs and of course groceries. Asda, owned by the USA chain Walmart is a great UK supermarket, but I feel a long way behind it's USA counterpart. Why can't Asda's in the UK be as big as Walmarts in the States, because frankly, Asda does not have the biggest range of products in the UK, though on the other hand, it does have some of the best prices. Probably Asdas ... Read the complete review
