You have probably seen the adverts on TV by now, how asda offer more cheap prices than their main rivals Tesco's and that was reason enough for me to switch from tesco's over to asda. I am glad I did as the branch that I visit in St. Helens has so many bargains and even the quality of their own branded food is very good indeed. We do our weekly ... Read the complete review

Asda is the secnd biggest supermarket company in the country, and it is also known for its low prices, with television advertising campaigns that back this up. In store they do have a budget range, ASDA smartprice, which is great for store essentials. They also have normal own brands and a luxury range 'extra special'. But ... Read the complete review

I enjoy going shopping to asda more than any other supermarket. Asda has the same food items that a lot of other supermarkets have aswell as a lot of added extras. Asda has been proven by many price comparison sites to offer the best prices around on thousands of everyday food items so will reduce your shopping bill ... Read the complete review

To me Asda is the cheapest and is the best supermarket in the UK at this current time. I always find that Asda staff are always helpful and polite where as i have experienced some arrogance in other supermarkets. I love Asda's home brands too they have a wide variety of different products on the shelf's. I love the ... Read the complete review

ASDA is a large supermarket chain that has traditionally had the name of being a lower budget shopping experience but not as good as some other giants such as Tesco or Sainsbury's. However, with the credit crunch and, dare I say it, recession, couding our horizons as we speak, ASDA is fast becoming the most popular supermarket for the general ... Read the complete review

ASDA in my opinion is a SUPERmarket! They seem to stock pretty much anything and everything. My local ASDA is quite a large store with a large carpark with parent and child parking alongside lots of disabled bays. They have two cash machines and even an anchor to tie your dogs lead to whilst your inside. They have every shopping ... Read the complete review

I don't normally pay that much attention in supermarkets - they're a means to an end rather than an experience. Thankfully I'm not price watching and so can go in, buy what I want and come out again. Asda, however, is different. My nearest Asda is around 12 miles away so, on the odd occasion when I visit I tend to have a good browse ... Read the complete review

This has to be my number 1 store when it comes to shopping, unfortunately i dont get much chance to get to it as i dont drive and also have twin babies so its once a blue moon i go. Prices are ridiculously cheap and even their own brands are great. My shopping bill is always a lot less than if i was shopping at other big stores. The ... Read the complete review

Asda is the main shop where i do food shopping,it is great value for money and they constantly have a wide variety of offers on. My local asda has just been renovated and now has a top floor full of clothing- men, womens, and children. Homeware, Cd's books toy's, i could go on, but i think most of you know how asda stock a wide variety of ... Read the complete review

I have an Asda on my doorstep. Always find them good with prices esp compared to the likes of sainsbury's. And nine times out of ten i usually get what i am looking for. Staff in there are always happy to help and have never had any problems with their level of service. Asda always have some fantastic deals on. Last month they had the half price ... This is my main shopping place and has been for years.Obviously it does have its downsides and that is the fact that they do not stock up very quick,so the chances are you will go for your weekly shop and not always get what you went for. The upside of this store is mostly customer service. They are great for returns or any problems, and ... Read the complete review

My local Asda is about the right size, not too large. It sells everything from the poplular George clothes, Homewares, Dvd, games, Videos, Mobiles. It is the cheapest supermarket to shop in, according to the survey results. It regularly has products on rollback, where the price is reduced from anything from 1p to over a pound. It ... I have to say that on the hole i like asda but there are a couple of things that really annoy me. I like the fact that over all i find them cheaper than tesco and the choice of products is second to none. They alsways have a good selection of fruit and veg and recently have had some very good deals on the essecial stuff like potatoes carrotts etc. ... Read the complete review

I have shopped at Asda for many years and i try not to shop elsewhere. The reasons for this is because Asda usually have good deals on food and drinks such as 50p deals, buy one get on free, half price, buy two get one free and other deals. They also have a rool back system and they always highlight that product when it has been rolled back so we ... Read the complete review

I have just ordered a fridge freezer from Asda Direct, and I am pleased to say that apart from matching any internet price from other suppliers, it was delivered promptly in two days from placing the order.
The delivery guys phoned me up to say when it was being delivered.
All in all a pleasant internet shopping experience.

I tried asda after seeing the adverts on tv regarding lower prices, and i have to say the adverts are spot on. I used to spend around £140 a month where i normally shop and with times getting tougher what with the credit crunch creeping on us that amount was going up fast,so had to start looking elsewhere. Having being a loyal customer to Tesco, I decided to give Asda a go since the credit crunch has made us all think more about spending money. Asda is a little further away and therefore costs a little more to travel to their store than Tesco, but the saving instore tends to beat Tesco. The store I go to is brand new. It has ... Asda is my favourite supermarket out of them all. I find the staff very friendly. The shelves are always well stocked unlike my local Morrisons which always runs out of stuff. ASDA is not the best supermarket for grocery shopping in my opinion. At least, not for value anyway. They rarely do any significant offers, and if they do you certainly see the price rocket up on other items to make up for it! They don't have the choice that many other supermarkets have either, they tend to just offer a couple of main brands on ... Read the complete review
