Atlantic Village

We visited Atlantic Shopping Village whilst we were on holiday (25 June 09). From our caravan park in Bude it's about 25+ miles away, but seemed an eternity on the windy roads they dare to call the A39 Atlantic Highway - not one real passing spot anywhere! I have to be honest, my partner had been nagging me about going there several months ago, and after visiting it she wished she hadn't. There's a modest sized Asda, M&S clothing outlet, a number of outdoor wear shops, banana bookshop (which was really a Works Bookshop in disguise), a Cadburys outlet, several other clothing shops and jewellers. I want to review the village of Clovelly but, being a newbie, I don't know how to start a new review topic off! So I've tagged it onto the Atlantic Village reviews! Clovelly is a tiny village in north Devon; uniquely, the whole village is private owned and the villagers are, in effect, tenants. It's a beautiful place and very interesting but very tiny, you'd be hard pressed to spend all day here. However, for a few hours it's a good place to visit. Atlantic village is a shopping retail outlet situated near Bideford in North Devon. Approximately 20minutes from the nearest major town, Barnstaple, Atlantic village offers a wide variety of stores covering from women's and men's fashion to children's toys and Cadbury's chocolate. The site is situated just of the A39 main road and is signposted making access simple. Parking at the site in the large car park is free. A new ASDA superstore has also recently opened on the same site. The main shopping area is all indoors in a modern and spacious building. Atlantic Village is another discount shopping outlet, it can be found on Clovelly road in Bideford. There is free parking and the shopping centre has good access for disabled people and as it is on one level it is easy to move around in. The Outlet village is open seven days a week and can get quite busy at weekends, that is when i normally go. Atlantic village is a lot smaller than most outlet centres as it only has about forty to fifty shops, the quality of the shops is brilliant though and i have picked up some real bargains when i have been before. I had a lovely time visiting the ATLANTIC VILLAGE. Its in North Devon not far from Barnstable and Bideford, well signposted and quite easy to find. Lots of free parking so quite hassle free. OK ? so why would you want to go to the Atlantic Village ? about 35 factory outlet shops all selling goodies at well below High street prices. The shops factory seconds, cancelled orders, last seasons? lines, samples and sale items. You could expect to save between 30% and 50% depending on the shop and time of year. Who?s there?
