Advantages: Everything about it
Disadvantages: None
Avon really is a great invention, what more could you want than doing your shopping from the comfort of your own armchair. And you don't even have to leave your home to pay for it or to collect it. It really is a lazy persons shopping, and its great.
Avon is a brochure that is posted through your door, that you can place an order for any of their product. Your representative then comes back on the date of collection to pick up your order, or if there is no order just to collect your brochure. your order is then sent away and when it has been received by your rep, they package it up for you and bring it back to your door and collect payment there and then, so no need to pay for them when you place your order.
I have been buying Avon now for years. But did have a break for a while, as for some reason no-one wanted to give us a book, their loss really as I always place an order. I tend to use Avon all year round, but do spend most at Christmas.
It has been made a lot easier for me to order now as my friend that I also work with, has started doing Avon for a while now, which means two really good advantages, one is that I know if some thing I am after is out of stock really quickly, and the second is that id rather give the money to a friend than a total stranger.
Over the past year I must have spent well over £300 approx on their products, and will continue to keep spending. Most of my purchases tend to be for eyeliner, I have to admit I don have a really soft spot for any colour, any make and any price band.
Avon has really helped me out this Christmas while looking for something a little different for the family. My last order was round about £40, which I was able to get presents for 4 people. As I am saving up for my wedding this year, I am cutting down on the expense of Christmas.
Avon has a really wide variety of products to purchase, from make-up to bubble bath, men's aftershave to women's lingerie, women's perfume to jewellery. And at Christmas the brochure gets even better, with great deals and lovely gift ideas for the festive period.
Last year I was able to purchase most things that I needed to create a beautiful hamper for my uncle, who is really hard to buy for, which I loving referred to it as a 'pamper hamper for the hard working man'. The only things I had to get else where was the bottles of wine and a DVD voucher.
I was very surprised when I handed in my first order and received it rather quickly. The quality of the products that you get from Avon are really good, especially for the small prices that you can pay for them.
Another great advantage to Avon is that if you don't want the item that you have ordered, once it is delivered. You can then send it back free of charge, and the balance is either processed as a refund, or kept as a credit for your next order, the choice is up to you.
I would definitely advise that if you don't receive an Avon book at the moment, try and find out who your nearest representative is a get a book, you will be pleasantly surprised, I was.
Summary: Go on you know you want to

- 13/10/08 I'm quite sad that no one in my area does Avon because I don't really want to have to pay the P&P from their website, defeats the object of buying the bargains. Good op =] |
