Advantages: great products, great prices. friendly avon ladies!

Disadvantages: having to wait

I have always loved Avon products. Cheap and good quality is what often comes to mind for me when I'm thinking about them.

In fact, I loved Avon so much I even tried to act as an agent for them and sell the products myself. However, I ended up spending more money than I ever made and gave it up. But I'm not going to talk about that as it was some time ago now!

I have a wonderful avon lady who lives up the road from me, feels very old fashioned, but she drops the catalogue off once every 3 weeks or so, I place my order and she picks it up and then my order is delivered with the next catalogue.

I'm a sucker for a special offer and every campaign seems to have more than one! So it is very rare that I don't buy anything at all, but I'm happy to do this in the comfort of my own home. I don't feel that there is the pressure of going into a shop or holding a party. But there is a sense of getting a present every time it is delivered (although you still have to pay!)

Of course as time moves on, technology kicks in, and avon has moved with the time and they have a very usable website, so if you can't find an avon lady (or gent!) try the website!
