Advantages: great selection of goods at very reasonable prices

Disadvantages: I honestly can't think of any!!!

Have you taken a look through an Avon brochure lately? There is so much to choose from, it's not only make-up and cheap perfumes that everyone thinks.
They do sell a great selection of make-up at very reasonable prices, I went into Boots to buy a mascara, the cheapest they had was £4!!! you can get really good mascara's from Avon from £2.99 all types from sensitive, waterproof, blue, purple, black and brown!!
they also sell some lovely perfumes, at approx £10 each there not too cheap or too expensive but well worth the money. most of the pages are fragranced so you know what they smell like.
It's not only womens products they sell either, they do a great selection for men, after shaves, deoderants, talcs, shower gels ect, A lot more choice than you get in shops.
Then there's the under wear a bit expensive but good quality, look out for the special offers, I bought a pack of three pairs of knickers for £5!!!
They do a great range of gifts for christmas such as candles, toys, c.ds jewellery, kids clothes, mens socks, in fact loads of stuff!!!
I always try to buy something from my Avon lady, not just because I love their products, but because I used to be an Avon lady for 10 years and I know how much hard work it is to earn so little!!!
I gave up eventually as I got fed up going backwards and forwards with peoples orders and their never in,
Traipsing around the streets each night in the dark and wet when your not getting anything from it really gets you down, at first it wasn't too bad, but you had to sell £20 worth of goods before you got 25% commission,
sometimes I even had to buy something myself to make it up just so I got paid!!!
They then put the minimum sales limit up to £40, that's when I gave up as there was not many times when I could sell this much.
Out of your commission you have to buy the brochures, free samples and paper bags, so that takes a great chunk out of what you actually earn
. so if you get an Avon brochure delivered to your door and you don't want to buy anything please don't throw it away, just leave it out-side and it will be collected, as most Avon ladies cannot afford to buy enough brochures to go around to everybody, so when she collects them they get delivered to someone else.
So remember next time you get an Avon book dropped through your door take a few minutes to look through it, you'll most likely to find something you'll like, after all every-one uses toiletries, so why not give it a go?
