Advantages: prices
Disadvantages: you get what you pay for
You cannot deny that Avon products are good value for money. If you shop carefully from each catalogue, buying products that are on special offer, you can get incredible baragins. In each catalogue there are introductory offers for brand new products or usually a mix and match offer where you can choose a number of products from a few pages and get the cheapest ones free. I tend to buy all of my shampoo or all of my roll-ons in one great big pile now because a special offer comes along that i just cannot afford to miss. I admit that quality wise, you can get hold of many better products in department stores and nothing will tear me away from some of my favourite kanebo and clinique items that cost many times what avon charges for similar products because for these select products, the money you pay really does seem to make a difference. But fo every day items like a basic eye make-up remover or a daily shower gel, it pays to buy wisely from avon. I am continually impressed by Avon's range of products in all areas of beauty and in a million different flavours, colours, smells and specialities. I also like the fact that if i am interested in trying a new perfume, i can order a mini sample just to test it out... this is usually one of my worries about buying fragrances by mail order but avon help you out.
