I love bargain hunting anywhere, and Nottingham is a pretty good place to do it! In Beeston, there's a fantastic little second hand bookshop in the centre that's great for a browse - it has that real old bookshop smell and you can usually pick up a good bargain. There are also lots of charity shops clustered together in the centre where you can pick up anything from cheap designer clothes to kids' toys and old records. In both Beeston and the city centre there are Wilkinsons, which are usually cheaper than the pound shop for things like cleaning supplies and food.
