I visit a local garden centre, quite regularly, that I would like to mention to all keen gardeners around the country. The name is BETTS NURSERIES. I have been buying my plants from Betts for a few years now and have never had any reason to complain. Their service is friendly and helpful (they remember us from year to year and always ask how our garden is looking). Their expertise on plants is excellent and they have a vast selection of plants, from pansies to the more unusual climbers and grasses, all grown in tunnels at the nursery. They also sell pots (terracotta, stone and concrete), baskets, benches, plant food, compost, bulbs and many other garden associated things. (They had a great set of 5-Nations pots, based on the rugby 5-Nations – we had three of them. If our garden were bigger I would have had all five). They are based in Cadoxoton, Neath, South Wales and are just a mile or two off the M4 motorway and the A465. If you are ever in the area, give them a visit, you won’t be disappointed. We are very satisfied customers.
