Advantages: Good quality goods with excellent sales

Disadvantages: A lack of panache in todays market

A huge sprawling version of BHS in a large shopping centre in Sheffield. It's light and bright and airy with huge windows, always a good shopping environment I find.
Plenty of space to pass on the main concourse but less so in the secondary areas.
I like their childrens clothes, I like the style range, the Disney range and their gorgeous weddings and special occasions wear. It's all very sweet, but I prefer their sales because of the prices.
I don't buy household good here, they simply don't appeal but the range seems reasonable, clocks, cushion covers, vases and picture frames, all in groupings to choose from.
At Christmas they have a great range of traditional gifts like slippers and pyjamas which I like, in a strange way. They also have lovely decorations, both on display and for sale.
The cafe is upstairs and I really don't like it at all. They cater for kids which helps but the food range is poor and the whole place smells greasy. They serve a lot of chips and if you want a less than healthy meal there's lots of choice, pick the vaguely healthy items and the food is expensive and frugal in choice.

Summary: Good solid institution of shopping
