Advantages: Quality goods and a great cafe.

Disadvantages: Not the highest fashion and can be seen to be expensive.

I think most people associate British home stores (BHS) as a shop for older people and even if it was that would be ok with me because I am old.

I don't think it is actually a shop for the elderly person though as it has a lot of different items and I also notice that recently my local store in fife in Scotland has been selling Glasgow Rangers and Glasgow Celtic hats and scarf's.

BHS has a huge range of clothing for men, women and children though admittedly the clothing ranges for men and women are aimed at people probably in their 40`s or over.

As well as clothing they have a toy department which is obviously much more focused on during the festive period, a household department and a cafe.

The household goods and the clothing are of very high standards and although they may seem a bit expensive you really are getting what you pay for which is quality goods.

The store is always staffed by a friendly, knowledgeable and well presented bunch of people who are always only too happy to help should you need it.

The cafe offers light snacks and coffee and teas and is always the cafe I visit when shopping down my high street whether I am actually shopping in BHS or not.

The cafe again is more expensive than some on my high street but the tea and coffee is very high quality and the service is excellent as is the seating and the cafe area is kept very clean.

I would recommend BHS stores to everyone as there really is something for everyone whatever the age and it is a great place for a cuppa too.

Summary: At least have a look!
