Advantages: Can be reasonable price
Disadvantages: Poor service, can be pricy for what it is
I've always thought of BHS as being a poor man's Marks and Spencer and my last 2 visits have proven this.
I visited the Aylesbury store one week and had a load of bedding which was badly stacked fall on top of me. The dippy staff members were stood several feet away and didn't even turn to look - I wasn't bothered about me as such but I had my little boy in his buggy with me and they packs of sheets could have fallen onto him! I know a sheet isn't heavy but several packs are!
I then visisted the Solihul branch a few weeks later and the cafe staff were an absolute joke - I ordered a cheese pasta and it took 3, yes, 3 members of staff to understand what I wanted! In the end the manager came over and said "Sorry, what did you want?"
It was then brought over after 10 minutes, so my little boy winged through us eating and then had to wait even longer when the pasta turned up steaming.
Generally found it to be a poor shop with poor customer service and feel as though BHS really can't have high standards when it comes to hiring staff!! Will avoid from now on!
Summary: Only go there if need to!
