BHS is one of those places I don't shop in frequently, but often have a look in when I'm there, especially if there's a sale on. British Home Stores, aka BHS, dates back to 1928. It's a popular British department store that's become a household name, so I'd be surprised if anyone hasn't at least heard the name. It ... Read the complete review

The customer service in BHS is the bottom of the league, from store to custommer service opperator. In this time of consumer restraint I would
have thought this would be a prority, alas no.
I have made my last purchace in BHS along with family and friends.
Lets get some real retailers back on the high street.

My wife and myself visited the White Rose at Leeds today. We visited the restaurant which had a number of staff working at the time.We ordered our food and at the cash desk waited quite some time in a queue to pay.The cashier explained she had no change, so customers were paying by debit cards. So by the time we got sat down our tea was cold. We waited and waited for our meal to arrive, I had to ask a member of staff for our order which was then only part delivered and was cold, the reminder was then brought to us about 5 minutes later nice and hot.
Overall our visit to your restaurant was disappointing to say the least.

I used to buy loads of things from British Home Stores but over the last year or two they seem to have gone down hill quite dramatically. In the past the range of school wear and childrens clothes were fantastic, however all they seem to stock these days is clothing for children who require 'larger' sizes. I do accept the genreal idea ... Read the complete review

British Home Stores, also known as BHS has been around since before I can remember, however in my eyes, the stores themselves have hardly changed at all. The store is known for selling household items and also clothing. Upon entering a BHS, whatever the location, the inside always looks the same. The lighting is quite depressing, and ... BHS, or as it is known to us old timers, British Home Stores. It does exactly what it says on the box. The new version of the store is stuck half way between Marks and Spencer and Woolworth's. All BHS stores are the same When you go into any BHS you will find it perfectly clean and tidy. It will be open plan and a little bit old ... Read the complete review

BHS have been going years and years and years. I think this could be part of their problem. They have a decreasing share of our disposible income and i think this is set to further decline. BHS are a national chain of clothing and homeware shops. They sell a range of products in large shops - usually located in the town centre. ... Read the complete review

British Home Stores is known as BHS on the high street. Here in Blackburn we have a big sized store which a few customers only come to. You can find clothing on sale here at BHS. They have a lot more clothes for the kids on sale here than anybody else here. BHS also offers some fairly good prices for the house good section. Few items on sale on ... Read the complete review

I've always thought of BHS as being a poor man's Marks and Spencer and my last 2 visits have proven this. I visited the Aylesbury store one week and had a load of bedding which was badly stacked fall on top of me. The dippy staff members were stood several feet away and didn't even turn to look - I wasn't bothered about me as such but ... Read the complete review

I think most people associate British home stores (BHS) as a shop for older people and even if it was that would be ok with me because I am old. I don't think it is actually a shop for the elderly person though as it has a lot of different items and I also notice that recently my local store in fife in Scotland has been selling Glasgow ... Every time I look in Bhs I can never find anything of interest to buy no matter how hard I look! The items also seem to be very overpriced and there is little choice. All it seems to sell is women's underwear or photo frames, quilts etc etc all very boring. I have heard from friends who live in different areas from me that they find Bhs a great ... BHS stands for British Home Stores and they sell a variety of items from clothes to home items. The first store was opened in 1928 in Brixton. They have stores all over the UK and are quite popular with men, women and children alike. In the past I have passed BHS off as a shop for the older women with often 'styleless' clothes and ... British Home Stores is a chain of large stores who sell everything from clothes to furniture for the home. Many of the stores also have a BHS restaurant where you can pick up something to eat. They sell clothes for both children and adults. Their clothes are OK but the quality isn't excellent and I wouldn't recommend them. They sell a ... Read the complete review

A huge sprawling version of BHS in a large shopping centre in Sheffield. It's light and bright and airy with huge windows, always a good shopping environment I find. Plenty of space to pass on the main concourse but less so in the secondary areas. I like their childrens clothes, I like the style range, the Disney range and their gorgeous ... I purchased an oak dining room suit from BHs just after Christmas and although overall please with it one of the chairs was very poor quality. It has been badly filled with plastic wood. Usually I quite enjoy shopping within Bhs, particularly at Christmas and for Birthday presents, however my opinion of the store has gradually decreased. My wife and I recently visited BHS Restaurants in both Leeds and Rotherham. On both occasions we purchased drinks and scones and were given one pat of butter for each scone which would have been hard pressed to cover a postage stamp.
