Advantages: Choice and convenience

Disadvantages: Pricey

Often when I'm reading a film review on Dooyoo what I want to know if it is a new film is whether should invest the money in going to see it at the cinema which is not a cheap night out these days or do I wait to rent it on DVD or if it does not sound that good then wait for it to make it to the TV screens.

I prefer to rent a DVD rather than buying and in the past I have always used Blockbuster for DVD rentals as they have a huge range of DVD's and also will have multiple copies of the new releases so you have a pretty good chance of getting what you want.

What I also like about Blockbuster is that they have a pretty good range of films for rental to suit all tastes as well as sections for children and teenagers, most of the films are sorted by genre except for the new releases and it is very easy to browse the stores, they also sell chocolates, drinks and popcorn to accompany your film but are well over priced so avoid.

On film hire costs they are looking a bit expensive these days compared with the online options howeer with these you have to plan ahead, what you get with Blockbuster is convenience of turning up on the spur of the moment to get yourself a film.

Summary: DVD rental
