All Over for the Blockbuster Store! (Blockbuster)

Blockbuster is a large chain of DVD and game rental shops. They have stores all across the UK which are usually in outlet type places i.e. not town centre. There is often plenty of parking which is great.

Blockbuster has struggled over the past 3 or 4 years due to the increase in the online DVD rental market. 10 years ago they were the leading company doing rental they are now probably not in the top 5.

I have to say ive never had any problem with the service Blockbuster provides but i have switched to a cheaper online company.

The one problem i have with Blockbuster is the pricing. It is very expensive in comparison with other companies and i dont feel they offer enough to warant the extra charge.

When you go in store they often dont have enough of the latest DVDs to keep up with demand. Online stores are often able to send them out within a few days if they are unable to suply them straight away.

Overall i think the Blockbuster Store has well and truly come to the end of its reign. The online companies just offer too much to compete. I wouldnt recommend the Blockbuster stores - go online for better value!
