No doubt that Blockbuster is the largest store in the UK when it comes to DVD Rentals. They offer you the chance to become a member with them and rent out the best DVD titles and also you can rent out games with them to. Most Blockbuster branches in the UK are huge in size and have plenty of titles available with them. The average price for a rental for 3 days is around 3.95 which is a expensive price.

I used the services of Blockbuster a year ago and was not happy with their service. The problems I often had with them at my branch was lack of quantity in the titles. When a new movie was released on DVD here you could hardly get it as they had less stock in for it.

The other problem I had here was some of the discs you would get here were in bad condition. When you actually report the disc before they try to blame you for the disc problem. They told me I was responsible for making the disc bad and even blamed my DVD player!

After threatening them that I would stop using their services they then stopped and said a replacement would be given. With services such as Lovefilm available now I do not even bother using Blockbuster. They need to cut down on their prices for rentals as they still remain expensive. I can see Blockbuster falling down soon in the recession as more people will stop using them.

Summary: I reckon they will fall in the recession easily
