A great place to rent films! (Blockbuster)

We have a big Blockbuster near us at Crystal peaks in Sheffield...

Blockbusters are huge DVD and games rental stores where you can buy many products as well...

The main idea of the shop is to rent a DVD for one night at a premium rate of £3.95 and then post or drop it back into them the next night before 10pm which means you can have it for over 24 hours in some cases.

We have been using this branch for years and my mum even went out on a date with one of the guys there, lol! :-P

The staff are really friendly (especially with my mum!) and always are helpful and polite. If there isn't something in stock you want to buy like a film for instance they will ring round the other stores to see if they have it in stock.

They often have offers on DVDs and games rentals and send special offers through the post.

There is a section where you can rent a movie for a week for only tow pounds if the film is really old.

One of the offers can be to rent three films for ten pounds over three nights. Also they do offers on the sweet, pop and ice cream they sell.

Recently we got a Ben & Jerry's ice cream and one packet of their brand popcorn and a big bottle of pop for five pounds extra - this is pretty good value and I love that ice cream!

The shop is well lit and spacious although they have a lot of stock. It is carpeted throughout and all the DVD are on shelves which you browse then take your choice to the counter to get the film put in the cover...

Games can be rented or bought too, plus stuff for consoles like controls and memory cards.

Films can also be bought and the prices vary by how old the film is. Blockbuster also sells box sets like House which my mum buys me for Christmas.

You need a membership card which you need I.D to set up then you hand over the card at the counter when you pay for your goods.

I think this is a great place to rent movies, etc, and worth five stars :)
