Block Buster video is one of the largest video/DVD hire shop around, and in my opinion it deserves it.

Blockbuster offers a massive selection of new releases and classics; it has all the DVD's, videos and console games that you would ever want to hire.

WHAT ARE THE PRICES LIKE?

Prices in blockbuster are fair in my opinion. They are a little more expensive than other less known hire shops, but the extra is worth it. I do feel that this is justified because you know, when you got the Blockbuster, you will have no hassle or stress due to the large selection; you will always be able to come away with something. Usually for a fairly new DVD, Video of Games it’s about £3.50, not bad, for 1 night DVD/Video, 2 nights for a game, rental.

SELECTION

There is a massive selection available in Blockbuster. The stock.consists DVD, VHS videos and most console game. Many they be just released or old classics, they will have them. The stock PS1, PS2, Dreamcast and N64 games, and have plenty of copies of them, which is very useful.

Location

There are a large amount of stores here in the UK. Where I live in Cardiff there is at least two different stores within a fifteen minute drive, Giving me, yes even more selection.

SERVICE

Service in blockbuster is pretty good, sales assistance are always very helpful. No trouble with service in Blockbuster whatsoever.

QUALITY OF PRODUCT.

All products are of good quality e.g. no scratches on CDs/DVDs and VHS tape is of good quality. Hire products are always very new.

RETAIL

You can also buy, games, videos and DVD from any Blockbuster shop, they have a reasonable selection at a reasonable prices. Although the food available is not the best priced around. Food like crisps, popcorn and ice cream etc are usually over priced, nip to the local Spar on the war home.

SUMMARY

Blockbuster is the best
hire shop around; they provide a massive selection across a large range of different formats. It’s hassle free, and that’s the main thing.
