Blockbuster Video.

Well everyone must have heard of this chain of movie renatal companies, they are a bit of a giant in the world at the moment. They have their advantages and disadvantages:

Advantages:

They always have a huge selection of all the latest releases - and on some of the latest releases, if you cant find it first time you visit the shop then the next time you go the rental is free. They have a good selection of games and loads of DVD's too...so they cater for everyone

Disadvantages:

Well for a start the rental price is very expensive costing £3.50 for a new release (and you only get it for one night). They also dont have a very good selection of the older films, the new releases take up about 80% of the shelves which doesnt leave much room for older films.
But by far the worst thing about Blockbuster video is their policy of running after videos that have not been brought back. More than once we have had legal action threatened over us for not paying for an extra day we had a video. And its not asif they wait a few weeks before ringing you up and shouting at you.. usually about 12 hours late is all that it takes. Great fun to be hastled. Once we rented a video and they put the wrong video in the box. They rang us up and threatened us to bring the video back straight away - and they were not prepared to pay for the petrol money to get the video back to the shop. Strange how it works one way round but not the other.
