... products are well laid out and presented, making shopping there an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The store also sells a variety of Bloomingdales branded goods, for example, the "Medium Brown Bags" made iconic by the store. The staff in Bloomingdales I found to be very friendly and cannot do enough to help. I know that some of them were on commission, but I'm not sure if that is just certain departments. Bloomingdales is one of New York's top department stores, and is located in Manhatten, towards the Upper East Side of the city. It sells mostly premium brands of clothes, accessories, beauty products, and some homewares. It's appearence from the outside is very impressive, with a huge branded facade, and flying flags from all over the world. Being in the United States, the prices of the designer brands it sells are around a third cheaper than they are in the UK, so it's worth visiting if you are in the city, it won't be as expensive as you think!
