Boden is one of the most hilarious mail order catalogues you will ever see. The "models" are all supposedly real people, originally friends and family of Johnnie Boden, the firms founder. Because of this, they have their name and occupation printed next to their picture- flipping fthrough occupation spotting is quite fun. And in the Kid's catalogue, the little darlings tell you what they want to be when they grow up!

Hilarity aside, boden offers a great selection of clothes, in a sort of English way. The firm was founded after Johnnie Boden, an ex-investment banker, failed to find quality clothes at a reasonable price. They may not have the widest selection in the world, but they quality and cut are great.

Price wise, the clothes are on the expensive side- they are all Boden label, but with items like shorts for £28, cheaper high street alternatives are available. However as I've said above, the quality is hard to beat.

Their customer services staff are also great, and the good special offers and sales which the firm hold make it well worth waiting for a new catalogue each season.
