I went for a few years buying all my toiletries and home medicines from my local supermarket but have recently started going to Boots again as you can get some great deals!

There are always offers around the store such as three for the price of two and bonus loyalty card points.

My main reason for going in today was to get one of my Mum's birthday presents; eye serum from the Botanics range. This is one of Boots own ranges of toiletries and I am hooked and I also have my Mum hooked now too! It was also a bonus that all of this range was a third off today so I stocked up on my moisturisers and serums too! Us girls have to treat ourselves every now and then!

Boots is basically a pharmacy where you can collect your prescriptions and speak to a pharmacist for advise. The store is so much more than this though and every time I go in there I seem to discover new things! I managed to spend nearly an hour in there today 'nosying' around!

Boots have a huge range of all your everyday toiletries such as shampoo, moisturisers, perfumes and make up. They also sell electrical goods such as cameras, electric toothbrushes and hairdryers.

I am sure that different Boots stores offer different services but my local store also has a photo developing section where you can print your own digital photos or get your traditional films developed.

Boots stores also have a sandwich and snack section aimed at the lunch time market. They have a meal deal which is basically a sandwich, snack (crisps, chocolate bar etc) and a drink for £2.99. The sandwiches are really tasty and they also have a low fat range called 'Shapers'.

It has been a few weeks since I went into my local Boots store and was amazed at all the Christmas gifts on display already! There are some great gift ideas and the bonus is that if you buy three gifts you get the cheapest one free!

Overall I would reccomend a trip to Boots to anyone. There is such a range of goods on offer. To give you an idea of the range of products I came home with moisturiser, a chicken sandwich, vitamin tablets and a pair of slipper socks!!
