Boots - good shop with plenty of offers (Boots Stores)

Advantages: 3 for 2 is what i like there the most, good bargains, well presented shop

Disadvantages: Becareful for till staff and always get a receipt to save the embarrassment like me

I always have to pop into this shop whenever i pass it in Norwich, Riverside. Although it's not the biggest store that we have in Norwich i find it still has the same services that any other boots store does.

They sell a good range of make up and accessories. They always seem to have some goods deals on in this department throughout the year. They also sell a good range of gifts but stocks always limited here compared to the larger store in the mall.

They also stock a small range of baby clothing, nappies, wipes,feeding equipment, medications, hair styling products, chocolates and prepacked sandwiches, drinks and small electrical items for beauty. This shop never seems quiet whenever i'm in there but it's always clean and well presented with their best offers on the end of the isles. One of the perks i find for shopping here is that i know whatever i buy i always collect points for all my purchases. These i like to save for sales after christmas when they have their 75% nearing the end on January.

Photo printing service and pharmacy are other services they provide here. There are also machines available for printing your own pictures near the photo printing counter. Although i have never used these i don't think their prices are that bad.

The members of staff have always been polite and helpful. I did find one trip to this shop really embarrassing once though as i went in to purchase some photo paper and ink for my kodak digital camera. When i purchased this at the tills the lady who served me on the till did not get me a receipt or asked if i would like a bag. When i left i then had their security follow me asking for proof of purchase. Although i described the lady that did serve me they still asked me back to the store as all till staff said they had not served anyone who had purchased any photo paper. At this point i was feeling really angry and embarrassed feeling like some sort of criminal but i did agree to go back to the store and i pointed out the woman who did serve me. She had only put the receipt in a wallet and yes she did remember serving me. All i got was an apology and this did put me off shopping here for a while but now that i do shop here again i always ask for a receipt and a bag no matter how small the items are that i am purchasing.

Summary: A good shop especially leading up to christmas.
