Advantages: Really vast choice of cosmetics

Disadvantages: Some things are pricey

Boots is a nationwide store which specialises in beauty products. It sells anything from Shampoo and shower gel to cosmetics, and also has some other things in such as toys and games, and Christmas gifts, where they usually have a three for two offer on.

I use Boots primarily for make up, as there is no shop with as much choice as boots. They also have regular two for one offers on everything, so you can always seem to find a bargain. I think at the moment there is a two for one on number 7, which is boot's own brand make up, and really good quality. They also have an own brand number 17, which is the cheaper version.

Boots staff are always very helpful, and give you mini makeovers when you ask for help in choosing foundation colours, for example. I find its always better to ask for help in choosing colours, because if it was left to me I'd end up looking too orange or too pale, I don't have a clue when it comes to colours!

Boots also has an advantage card scheme, so you can collect points on everything you buy to redeem at a later date.

Summary: I'll never use a different shop for make-up, this one is perfect as it is!
