Advantages: Trusted high street name
Disadvantages: Can be expensive
Another trusted household name. Boots the Chemist has along history on the high street. It is much more than just a chemist.
You'll find that the base prices can be high compared to supermarket prices. The Boots Advantage Card combined with special offers like their regular "buy three for the price of two" offers balance out the differences. At each store you can put your advantage card into a machine to print of special offers and vouchers. Points you receive when you pay for your purchases can be used for price reductions on future shopping trips.
At the larger branches, walk through the large glass doors and you will usually find yourself surrounded by the cosmetics and fragrances department. Everything to please the modern woman. You can't go wrong with perfumes from all the well known manufacturers Elizabeth Arden, Lancome, Lancaster, Chanel, the list is endless. They've got Cosmetics and skin care products to suit the funkiest teenage girls.They've got anti wrinkle miracle creams to give women of a certain age a new bounce. For the man in your life you can buy quirky naughty joke sets or more moderate items like aftershave, DVDs and books.
At the other end of the scale they've got the cutest outfits for the newest members of the family. The Baby Care section carries products from old favourites Johnson and Johnsons, Dineford and Milton which have stood the test of time, to newer more modern organic products and space age buggys.
Do you need a quick healthy lunch pack? They are usually on special meal deal offers. Perhaps you need to develop your holiday pics (not quite got the hang of your new printer), you can do it at Boots the Chemist. Need new glasses - you guessed, Boots the Chemist! Oh yes You can have a prescription filled there too!
